This ecochallenge has really taught me a lot about myself and my surrounding community. After this challenge is over I plan to continue making and maintain the changes I have made to my lifestyle that will hopefully result in a more sustainable world.

There are a lot of easy and simple things people can do to save energy and reduce the environmental footprint. Some things are turning off lights, turning up the thermostat when you leave, or taking cooler, shorter showers.

How might spending more time outdoors enhance your brainpower?

Spending more time outside allows me to clear my head and focus on what I need to. Taking time out of the day to simply relax and not focus so seriously makes it easier to focus later on.
  • Reflection Question

Practicing gratitude allows me to look past whatever is currently going on in my life. The issues that are significant now will not be in the near future.

Voting is an important action we should all take to help improve the world around us. The people we vote for choose the way the environment is protected.

Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

I feel like richer countries usually have a culture that encourages the consumption of meat. While in many developing countries it is not custom to eat meat because there is little to no access to meats on a daily basis.
