So far so good! I have noticed that I am more concerned about my waste and how to be accountable for future generations.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Locally-Sourced Meals
If you were to only eat what is in season locally, what would be the hardest food item for you to give up?

    Marcelo Barbosa 5/29/2020 9:51 PM
It would be hard to live without oranges, avocados and bananas
  • Reflection Question
Water Brush My Teeth Without Running Water
What is the main water source in your region? If you don't know, how could you find out?

    Marcelo Barbosa 5/27/2020 10:07 PM
About 70% of Encinitas's water is imported from the Colorado River and Northern California. The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) is the Water Authority's largest supplier, providing 45 percent of the water supplies for the region
  • Reflection Question

    Marcelo Barbosa 5/24/2020 8:16 PM
Eating practicing mindfulness differ by listening to your body and what it wants at that point in time

  • Reflection Question
    Transportation Try Carpooling
What are the factors that influence your choice of transportation? These can include things like money, time, and convenience, as well as perceptions of danger or safety.

    Marcelo Barbosa 5/21/2020 3:33 PM
I think the most important factor which influences my choice of transportation is convenience, especially here in North San Diego where the public transportation is not easily accessible
  • Reflection Question
    Simplicity Meditate
What would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?

    Marcelo Barbosa 5/15/2020 10:20 PM
I would invest more time reflecting to make a difference on someone's life
  • Reflection Question
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    Marcelo Barbosa 5/13/2020 1:48 AM
The meet production increases the greenhouse emission, and more forests are devasted to open space. Meat is highly appreciated for the variety of different types  and exotics options that would cost very expensive and are very profitable
