My challenge is actually quite easy since I live on campus so everywhere I go on campus I walk or bike and if I want to go further to downtown or something I go by bike which is not only healthy for the environment but healthy for me. I also don't have a car so I don't have to worry about being tempted to drive just a few blocks when I don't feel like walking. Everything is just really close in La Crosse so I don't have to go that far when I am walking or at least it doesn't seem like it so I am perfectly okay with walking or biking everywhere. Since I don't have a car I have to car pool so when I go to visit friends at other colleges I use the UWL rideshare group to get rides places which is super nice because it saves me money and gas.

I hope you're choosing something for the challenge that actually challenges you too!  I do agree with you on all those benefits of biking/walking in La Crosse.
