Reflection QuestionHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Jasmine Koch 11/08/2022 11:59 AMI would like to shift my sleep patterns by allocating my productivity during the day. This can be done by doing classwork in between classes and not "wasting" time doing something unproductive in the evenings to pave the way for longer sleep. I am finding that I am more present in my classes, can focus better, and have an overall more positive attitude. -
Reflection QuestionWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Jasmine Koch 10/28/2022 8:32 AMI often find myself buying drinks at coffee shops where I'm close to out of convenience. I realize that I can make drinks at home and use my reusable mugs or insulated cups to reduce the amount of single-use coffee cups I use.-
Anupama Pasricha 10/29/2022 6:54 AMAwesome! I also learned about this company from MN- its called Forever Ware (they have a reusable system), they are partnering with coffee shops and restaurants (TCBStartMN, Fall 2022).

Reflection QuestionWaste Skip the StrawHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Jasmine Koch 10/28/2022 8:28 AMI would incorporate reducing, reusing, refusing, repairing, and repairing in my lifestyle by limiting my purchasing or using items that are a "want" instead of a "need". I will also find ways to repurpose food containers and other objects that can be beneficial in other ways. Reducing the number of items that have single-use plastic packaging can save the littering and trash accumulation that ends up in the environment and oceans. -
Reflection QuestionWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?
Jasmine Koch 10/27/2022 12:02 PMI use any kind of bin or storage equipment I have around me to carry items if I do not have my reusable bags with me. A system I could put in place to use reusable bags more often is to make sure I always have a reusable bag on me every time I go somewhere.-
Anupama Pasricha 10/29/2022 6:56 AMI have used their paper-bags when I forget to bring mine. I would say 95% of the time.
