  • Reflection Question
    Energy Choose LED Bulbs
Switching out your lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! In what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?

Using energy efficient televisions, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc. will help reduce carbon emissions tremendously.
  • Reflection Question
    Water 5-Minute Showers
Name some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?

Water Parks use a lot of water everyday. One way to improve the health of water systems would be turning the water off when not rinsing in the shower, and running water only when rinsing the dishes, not while washing them.
  • Reflection Question
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

First of all, this would not happen because I leave a reusable bag in my car. One way to not use disposable bag could be walking out to your car with the items in a cart. Then you can put your items in the car individually and avoid using disposable bags.
  • Reflection Question
    Waste Choose Two-Sided Printing
Choosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?

I think it can be encouraged nationally. Putting text on the back of a page instead of a new page will save paper, and it makes no difference reading/visibility wise. I always try to get my family to print double sided to save paper.
