I have begun to do my daily challenges more naturally over the course of the month
  • Reflection Question
    Water 5-Minute Showers
Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

    Jacob Merritt 10/03/2018 5:49 PM
I try to take as quick as possible showers since not only is it great for the environment, I can have even more time to procrastinate other things.
  • Reflection Question
    Energy Power Down the Computer
What are other easy things you could do to save energy and reduce your environmental footprint?

    Jacob Merritt 10/03/2018 5:22 PM
When I go on rounds as an RA, I turn off the lights in the lounges at the end of the night.
  • Reflection Question
    Waste Skip the Straw
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?

    Jacob Merritt 10/03/2018 5:20 PM
Redesign; as an Engineering major, I can redesign products to be more environmentally friendly
  • Reflection Question
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

    Jacob Merritt 10/03/2018 5:19 PM
The convenience is something that is hard to get over. Having to always carry around a water bottle can be a burden at first.
