And like I told her “well it’s not my fault that I can’t feed him those kids, that’s why I give him ham”. And I got in trouble 😎 and then I put my dog on the grill 🥶🥶🥶 -

Reflection QuestionNature Enjoy the Sunrise/SunsetFather Thomas Berry says, "... our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." What is your response to Berry's assertion?
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/15/2021 10:03 AMso yesterday I was looking at the sun (yes it hurts so don't do it) and then i saw so many colors like red, orange, yellow, and surprisingly a type of green ish it was pretty cool -
Reflection QuestionFood Watch a Documentary about Food SovereigntyHow does food sovereignty address the complex transition from localized food systems to modern global food systems?
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/14/2021 11:12 AMNot to make a joke but I actually saw a documentary of there rotisserie chicken of Costco lol. It was how they don't gain profit out of there chicken because of how cheap it is. the price is $4.99 but it takes them more money for them to buy the chicken and do all the stuff that they do idek what they do but they do. I'm going to use the Costco close to the Tacoma mall because that's where I go lol. So this is there trick, you enter the store and for you to go to the chicken you have to pass hundreds of products so they deceive you and make you want to get things that you didn't even know you wanted like for example a 14 yr old buys a corkscrew, like why. And then you reach the chicken you get 1 or 2 and then to get to the cash register you have to pass other 300000 products and a bunch of books that no one gets like the auto biography of Hillary Clinton. so yeah. thank you for reading this bible page!!-
Hannah Pulido 1/17/2021 9:31 PMLITERAL FACTSSS!!! thanks for the info ab the chicken :) bahahah the last part is so funny to me lol but yuh the temptation is real to buy random things T-T

Reflection QuestionSimplicity MeditateWhat would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/13/2021 12:53 PMI took some time for myself and just laid in my bed just thinking what i could improve on overall as a person and I saw I could improve in many things and then i fell asleep, it wasn't part of the plan but it happened-
Hannah Pulido 1/13/2021 7:22 PMmust be big brain thoughts, I respect that ✌️

Reflection QuestionNature Leave No TraceEducator Stephanie Kaza advises her students to focus on what they care about most when addressing the enormity of ecological problems. Is there a specific area you feel particularly called to work on?
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/13/2021 12:48 PMto be honest I didn't know what the 7 principles where until I made some research and now I'm filled with knowledge.- Plan ahead and prepare
- Travel and camp on durable surfaces
- Dispose of waste properly
- Leave what you find
- Minimize campfire impacts
- Respect wildlife
- Be considerate of other visitors
plan ahead and prepare: actually that is pretty smart to make a plan on what your going to do because if you don't have a plan your just going to find yourself just sitting on a rockDispose of waste properly: yeah I hate it when i see trash all over the forest its just sad
Leave what you find: yes this is also really smart because like I don't go to the forest to find a dead bird and take it home with me so yes I'm leaving it there
Respect wildlife: YES always animals are pretty except Michael's iguana, that thing scares meBe considerate of other visitors: yes I see why you should be considerate but there is also a limit if I see them like idk kicking a rock, punching the air then ill let them be. But if I see them littering, or destroying the forest then that's when you have to stop them but not mean just say "HEY YOU NERD STOP THAT" simple-
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/14/2021 10:27 AMHANNAH PULIDO yeah I only took an hour to make not to flex or anything :D -
Hannah Pulido 1/13/2021 7:21 PMAYYYE OKAYYY!!!!! U really got this thought out Scotty 😌😎

Reflection QuestionSimplicity Needs Vs. WantsHow is creativity a necessary ingredient for practicing simplicity?
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/13/2021 12:32 PMyesterday I went to Safeway and I saw some pretty good stuff mostlyjunk foodbut its because of that and also that I'm always sitting down lol, so I took some time to think instead of begging my parents to buy me this like a little kid, what can could we do with that money that would benefit us. And then when I was done thinking we where already at our car. -
Reflection QuestionWater Eco-friendly GardeningWhat are the most prominent water concerns in your area? Examples include drought, flooding, pollution, access, security, and privatization.
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/13/2021 12:17 PMIn the area where I live the biggest concern for water would just be people leaving the faucet on even though there not using it, but as much as I would like to do something about it I unfortunately cant because people wont consider there actions until its to late, Its silly to me because we complain that the world is being destroyed but we don't do anything about it, most of us carry this hypocrisy, but don't get me wrong there are a lot of wonderful people out there (like my team) that try and keep the world we live in clean. -
Reflection QuestionSimplicity Support a Sharing EconomyWhat are some of the barriers to sharing economies? What is your plan for supporting or creating one in your community?
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/13/2021 11:55 AMSo I guess I can consider "support" to be me doing volunteer work. I used to go every Sunday to this food bank in Steilacoom (We Love Steilacoom, Food pantry) its a community church. i have liek more than 30 hours of volunteer time. (NOT TO FLEX OR ANYTHING) but I have to beat Hannah Pulido she's leaving me face first in the dirt she has so many points lol -
Reflection QuestionSimplicity Work-Life BalanceHow might practicing work-life balance lead to a more sustainable life for yourself? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Scotty Miranda (FIRE TRUCK) 1/13/2021 11:47 AMBy limiting myself to less less than 8 hours a day, (In this case I consider work to be school because I don't work, I'm not cool like that, yet) It really gives me more time to spend with my family or just to relax without having to worry about work.
