    Hey guys,
This week was a little rough getting the daily challenges accomplished. I was scheduled more hours than usual at work. This made it hard to have the motivation to go for a 30 minute walk each day. I only was able to go 3/7 day of the week. I still think having the mindset of trying to get yourself out of your comfort zone pushes you because before the challenge I probably won't of gone for a 30 minute walk at all. I noticed the days that I did go for a 30 minute walk I had a better mood and had more of a positive out look on things.

Today it my day to explore my area in such of a new place to hike. I this will give me and my friends something fun and constructive to do after class. I do enjoy going on hikes. I feel as thorough I get to connect better within nature when going on hails. I have done a lot in the area, but I am excited to see what is still out there waiting to be seen. Also, I get to practice another daily challenge which would be to use a reusable water bottle instead of wasting plastic ones. I like how these challenges can apply to your life style. It makes me think twice before I crack open a water.

Saving power has been one of my down falls. I unhook my phone from the charger because it is was fully charged to not waste energy. Unfortunately, forget that the power is still being sent to the charger even though my phone isn't plugged in. It is the habit of unplugging the changers from the wall that I am improving on.

I am happy to be apart of this challenge because we talk about what it means to be sustainable all day in class. It would be nice to start living a sustainable life style. So fare I am proud to say that I am strongly succeeding with my current challenges. I am not going to lie as first it was hard to remember the challenge of the day but once I got a routine down. I realized how doable these challenges would be. One of my challenges was to take a 30 minute walk outside everyday. This was nice it got me out of my house and I even invited my parents to join me. This led to causal conversation and also a realization of the pollution in my neighborhood. My parents want to start bring grocery bags on the walks so they can pick up small liter that we passed. Another challenge that stuck out to me was to not use grocery bags when shopping. A while ago I have invested in some cloth bags. I finally get to take them out of the closet and fill them up with groceries. Walking out of the store with the cloth bags filled is a nice reassuring feeling that I am doing the right thing.
