I am grateful for the changing of the seasons to reorient my mood, the beauty of the fall colors, the water cleaned by the local plants and soil, and the frogs that sing me to sleep most summer nights.

It's not much that we save that way, but it allows us to enjoy the every day more rather than saving all of our enjoyment for "special" occasions.

I'm trying to keep a journal going, and that's my mindfulness activity on most days: I think about what I want to track and what I want to enjoy in the moment.
  • Reflection Question
Simplicity Go For A Daily Walk Outside
Fresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?

I always feel more energized if I take a quick walk or drink some cold water -- even more so than eating or drinking coffee!
