How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I try to do workouts with friends! Today, my friend and I (we're both running a race in a few weeks) ran a 5k and then, I hung out with my friends at frisbee practice. It makes it much easier to socialize and get a good workout in!

This is so awesome, Nora! Working out with friends makes it so much more fun and more of a social activity than a painful workout.

Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

Meat is, especially right now, so expensive. Eggs, too. It's actualy much cheaper for me, in a "first world" country, to reduce my animal product consumption. In other countries, access to meat is limited and more costly, exacerbating this dichotomy of access. At the same time, reducing meat consumption is also helping reduce the ecological impacts, since animals like cows drink require tons of water to feed and the land required to grow their feed is also land not utilized to grow other crops.

It helps me think about the positive! Sometimes, especially when I'm journaling, it can be a bit of a word-vomit about all the things I'm stressed about, but taking a couple of minutes each day to think about the positive things I'm thankful for is a helpful reorientation of my day.
