    Practicing work-life balance would hopefully lead to less stress and job burnout.  In my particular case --- when stressed or feeling overwhelmed I tend to do shop therapy.  If I practice work-life balance - hopefully I will reduce buying items I don't really need, less packaging to throw away and save money.

    I thought this would be easy - but it is very challenging.  My mind tends to start to wander and think about tasks I still need to complete for the day, etc.   I definitely need more work on this.

      Don't get discouraged, Kris!  Everybody's minds wander when they practice mindfulness....the fact that you are recognizing that it is wandering is mindfulness! :)

    By practicing gratitude, it puts you in a good mood, better outlook for the day, an overall positive attitude.  Hopefully then spreading the positive feeling to others you encounter throughout the day.
