  • Reflection Question
    Health Happiness
How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

It helps you remember what is important and how little something can be to impact your world or daily life. Practicing gratitude helps motivate me to fulfill my dreams and to work hard for what I want; not to give up.

How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

I go to the gym to work out with my best friend 5 times a week, and we go for runs outside on nice days to also incorporate spending time in nature to our routines.
  • Reflection Question
    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

This does not surprise me because food is expensive, especially healthy food, which wastes faster. And larger families have more children, who tend to waste more food.

Putting as much in my savings as possible to save up for medical school.

I live in the city to attend college, so I get energy from excel energy, where they have many different forms of how they produce/generate energy. For example, coal burning, natural gas, solar, and even the burning of waste/wood.
