The first week of the ecochallenge project has gone well. I have succesfully completed all of my three challenges. Two of them haven't really been a challenge for me. Turning off lights, electronics and appliances when not using them was easy, because I am used to turning off most of the electronics I use except my laptop and my smartphone. But I got also used to turn them off. I also completed my second challenge by informing myself about making better seafood choices for a healthier ocean. I didn't expect using reusable bags being the most challenging challenge. People just don't ask you if you want to have a bag or not when you order food or go shopping at Walmart for example. They just give you one, so you have to tell them, that you don't want any plastic bags every time you go shopping which can be a little annoying.
