  • Reflection Question
    Simplicity Needs Vs. Wants
How is creativity necessary for practicing simplicity?

    Jackson wise 2/12/2020 9:48 AM
I'm noticing that most of these challenges just come down to convenience. This is no exception. When looking in a store or shopping for food it comes down to 'do I need this, or do I wanna be more comfortable and convenient?'. Plus this saves me money which is a nice bonus.
  • Reflection Question
    Energy Power Down the Computer
What are other easy things you could do to save energy and reduce your environmental footprint?

    Jackson wise 2/12/2020 9:45 AM
This is super easy to do. My desk top takes forever to turn on, but with the perspective of saving energy the powering down is way worth it.
  • Reflection Question
    Water 5-Minute Showers
Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

    Jackson wise 1/17/2020 9:47 AM
I actually started to trying to take less showers in general. Currently I average around 1-2 showers a month.
  • Reflection Question
    Water Conserve Toilet Water
What would a sustainable water future in your region look like? What needs to change?

    Jackson wise 1/17/2020 9:46 AM
Less showers, more use of water just when needed. I know someone who uses their dirty laundry water as their toilet water. That's recycling.
