I would say the most prominent water concerns are water pollution on lakes, rivers, oceans, and etc. because pollution problems have been growing rapidly.

I've learned that many people are struggling to stay in good condition like using clean water and eating healthy food. So it makes me realize the seriousness of environmental pollution.

Who is affected by polluted water or a lack of access to water in your region? How are they affected?

I think people who are homeless could be affected by polluted water or a lack of access to water because they are in difficult situation to get clean water in outside of house.

How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

I was able to see how the life changed due to global pandemic. Many people do gardening at home and stay at home instead of going outside.

How does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?

it motivates me to do my best and do better by taking responsibility.
  • Reflection Question
    Waste Find Local Recycling Depots
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

    Ge-Sue Yang 2/03/2021 7:05 PM
I brought the recycle item and after cleaning inside and removing any stickers, i threw away it at home.

What are other easy things you could do to save energy and reduce your environmental footprint?

    Ge-Sue Yang 2/03/2021 6:58 PM
When we go outside,  many people forget to turn off lights. Thus, if we turn off lights, it will help to save energy and reduce our environmental foot print.

How is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?

    Ge-Sue Yang 's avatar
    Ge-Sue Yang 2/03/2021 6:53 PM
Most of the electricity generated is fueled by coal and natural gas in WA. It impacts to increase levels of CO2 and other gasses by greenhouse gases. Thus, greenhouse gases lead to global climate change and it will make humans and animals life worse and environment as well.
