    I feel called to work on plastic pollution, most specifically in the ocean.

    I definitely agree with this statement. Learning to appreciate and cherish nature is the first step in becoming an activist. I think that the first step in feeling gratitude as a society, people need to have a sense of place, a spot in their neighborhood, a road trip, etc. to experience nature in a very raw way.

    I think that's really beautiful. It reminds me of the way I love celebrating mornings. I often say mornings are when the world wakes up :) and it makes me see things very sentimentally.

    Some other things I could do is to make sure I unplug my phone when it is fully charged. I usually just leave it charging all night, even though it only takes about 2 hours to charge.

    What surprised me most was the amount of electricity I use on a daily basis just in my dorm room! I decided to unplug the actual cord from the charging port when I'm not using certain things.

    Where I live, a good amount of the energy is generated by solar panels. It positively impacts the campus here because it generates the warm water for showers and sinks, etc.
