    Since I don't have a car, I don't feel that this fact applies to me. I want to get a bike though so that I can travel more easily to places that aren't too far away.

    Other easy things that I could do to save energy are to turn off the lights when I leave the room and to not let the sink keep on running with water when I brush my teeth.

    I think people in North America are used to eating large amount of meats with our meals because a lot of cheap food places (fast food) serve meals with meat being the main component of the meal.
