    Waste Choose Two-Sided Printing
Choosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?

I think if we just help people get use to using double sided sheets it will be people go to instead of even having to think about it
  • Reflection Question
    Waste Go Paperless
Reducing your paper mail can reduce mental clutter as well as physical waste -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?

  • Reflection Question
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Reusable bottles can be more expensive and bulkier/heavier. this is already a permanent habit for me

I mainly focus on reducing my waster but I think I could reuse stuff more. I know there are lots of videos on the internet about uses for stuff people normally just throw out
  • Reflection Question
    Waste Use Reusable Bags
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

  • Reflection Question
    Food Meet My Local Farmers
When you know who produces your food, you are connecting personally to your complex regional food system. What are the advantages of knowing who produces your food and where it comes from? How can knowing their food producers enable someone to advocate for a better quality of life for those who produce their food, both near and far?

    Marcus Antar's avatar
    Marcus Antar 10/19/2020 12:40 PM
One advantage of knowing where your food comes from is you can know if they use gmos or what environments the animals (if livestock) live in

    Marcus Antar 10/19/2020 12:38 PM

  • Reflection Question
Food Watch a Documentary about Food Sovereignty
How does food sovereignty address the complex transition from localized food systems to modern global food systems?

    Marcus Antar's avatar
    Marcus Antar 10/19/2020 12:37 PM
I watched the documentary called "Rotten" which talks about the inhumane and inefficient processes of industrialized farming. Food sovereignty can be difficult for communities without access to good local healthy food.
