    It is easy to get lost in the busyness of our lives, but taking time to enjoy just the sunrise and sunset allows us to reconnect with the world and its beauty. It allows us to slow down, and really think about the planet, instead of just noting it in passing.

    I think richer countries eat more meat because they have easier access to it, and they have the money to pay for it. Unfortunately, meat consumption has a negative impact on the planet, since a large section of land is used for allowing animals to graze, as well as pollution from large industries involved in processing it.

    Usually, in the mornings and after lunch, I'll grab a disposable cup for coffee and take it with me when leaving the caf. However, that has quite a bit of an impact on the environment. Instead, drinking coffee during my meals, using mugs, should reduce my volume of waste.

    Standing in the shower waiting to wake up is one of the best parts of the day. But you know what also wakes you up? Stepping out of the hot shower into the morning air before you're ready.
