    I chose to spend the exercise time in nature when weather permits. I hope to learn and have courage to walk outside in subzero temperatures in MN.

    It helps me realize that there is more than just what I am stuck thinking about. Whether it is school or family or friends, being outside helps me relax and remind myself to not take things for granted.

    Practicing meditation allows me to be more present in the environment that I live in. If everyone practiced daily meditation we might see the way we interact with our environment change. People might be more likely to treat the earth with kindness if they practice meditation and mindfulness.

    I would like to shift my sleep patterns by allocating my productivity during the day. This can be done by doing classwork in between classes and not "wasting" time doing something unproductive in the evenings to pave the way for longer sleep.
