    Health Eliminate Toxic Plastics
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

A few years ago I started bringing cloth bags grocery shopping and always make sure not to put fruit or veg in plastic baggies and tell the till person not to separately wrap my meat in plastic.  I also gave up on plastic straws years ago and don't drink coffee. I always have a reusable water bottle.

    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

It is difficult to make the transition to a reusable coffre cup at first cause you have to make sure you have it every morning but use it a couple of times it’s done, I have successfully transitioned to a reusable coffee cup.

    Food Plant an Herb Garden
Consider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?

I have to be very selective in my green garden. My cat likes  to eat plants. I live in an apartment.

Unfortunately, I was sick for the last week so I was not able to track my progress. I am back up and running with the Eco Challenge!

Today I brought a reusable water bottle instead of taking the free plastic water bottles in the John Archer Library open house.
