I use single use items: plastic bags (but I reuse them for trash or other things), vegetable bags at home. I could use my metal straw instead, bring my own grocery bags, and use reusable veggie bags. 

Using more environmentally friendly options to get around I have found out is better for your physical health and saves you money in the long run.

Invest the money over time and put it into the stock market.

I can incorporate the other R's into my lifestyle by taking into consideration the order, and that is first to reduce what you use. That's why this was so important because it's refusing to use straws in the first place, instead of just recycling them. I can use the other ones with the amount of plastic I use in the first place. 

I feel that I feel more connected with myself, rather than attached to my phone. It's nice being more present with those and what's going on around me. I notice that I am more attentive, and not craving my phone as much. 

Throughout the research and sources I looked at and read and saw, its very vital especially now to take extra care and protect these species. Pollinaters thought the entire world are taking a very steep decline which then effects many producers which then lead to decline of many species that are vital to our survival of plants. One of the biggest examples of this is in honey bees and the effect that they then have on almond production, which is a lot. So when we don't care for the pollinators, or the things that they need to live, were messing up the biological makeup of the earth and how its supposed to work, which is a severe thing that needs to be fixed quickly. 

 One barrier that is present in specific regions is water quality. To combat this, I believe water filters, such as Brita, can be used to minimise pollutants in drinking water and allow for less plastic bottles being put into landfills and the ecosystem. 

One challenge I run into often is the concept of ordering coffee from a store. Due to the COVID pandemic, most places will not allow you to have your drink made in a reusable mug and will only make your beverage in a disposable cup. To combat this, I make my own coffee at home more often than not. Overall, I feel better that because of my commitment to making sure I have time in the mornings to make my own coffee allows me to put less plastic waste into the ecosystem.
