REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Zero-Waste CookingIn North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for using every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable (including the skins, tops, stalks, etc.) during your next meal prep?
Tobias Aberl (102) 4/04/2024 2:01 AMI started cooking about 1 year ago and realized that there is a lot of waste that goes into cooking if you do not plan out your meal. It was really fun trying to figure out how to not waste any food or ingredients while cooking. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Less Screen TimeWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
Tobias Aberl (102) 4/04/2024 2:00 AMI exchanged screen time, with more valuable time such as learning a new skill and spending more time with my family. I have also spent more time enjoying life in general. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Go For A Daily Walk OutsideFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Tobias Aberl (102) 4/04/2024 1:59 AMI really find myself finding more joy in life when walking outside. I spent 1 hour walking and it was so different from just outside my house.
