REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
joseph bryant 902 10/24/2025 2:24 PMabsolutely, I have always loved being outside because it is so refreshing just to experience life and enjoy things to the most, rather than being inside, I still enjoy experiencing things inside but it is not like being outside at all! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityWhat did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?
joseph bryant 902 10/24/2025 2:18 PMHonestly it was not hard at all, I love being able to get away from social media or my phone and hangout with friends. I decided to go to a high school football game with some of my high school friends to watch some of our younger friends play their last game ever. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet? What fruits or vegetables did you try this week, and which was your favorite?
joseph bryant 902 10/22/2025 9:25 PMIt is very healthy and has the nutrients your body needs, so it defiantly helped my health, and I think the same goes for everyone, eating vegetables and fruits are always good for you. I had oranges and tomatoes, and I enjoyed the oranges a lot. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow did expressing gratitude or performing acts of kindness impact you and the recipient? Did anything surprise you about your experience?
joseph bryant 902 10/22/2025 9:16 PMIt always affects me since I've always enjoyed making people smile, laugh, or even encourage them. Therefore, it makes me happy to make someone's day when I do those tiny actions of kindness. Having someone make you happy or encourage you is nice, in my opinion. I believe it increased their happiness of the day or possibly encouraged them to keep going. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityWhy is voting important to creating a just, sustainable, and thriving world? In what other ways can you actively participate in important decision-making?
joseph bryant 902 10/22/2025 9:06 PMvoting is super important, and there are millions of reasons why we vote, but two main reason for voting is to keep things in control or in other words do whats best and make things fair. I can actively participate in the important decision-making is definably voting, but also staying involved in our community or even nation, to vote for what is best. -
