Say No to Plastic Straws

REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Emmy de la Cruz (340) 4/02/2025 10:06 PMwell, what I usually see a lot is that some people doesn't trust tap water to drink from there thinking that they may get sick from it or something, also I see people that just doesn't like the taste of that water so I guess one think that can be done is making a campaign that shows that tap water is not risky to consume. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?
Emmy de la Cruz (340) 4/02/2025 10:03 PMwell, what I usually do (also my family) is that we try to safe this kind of bags to at least use as trash bags for the house, so at least we can give it a second life. but honestly I always make sure that If I'm going to shopping or do groceries bring reusable bags.
