You can use Ecochallenge.org programs to inspire and organize your community by joining team challenges, setting shared goals, tracking progress, and learning practical ways to live more sustainably together.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy
What most interested or surprised you about your own energy footprint? What changes did you make or will you make?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/03/2025 8:33 AM
I was surprised by how much energy I use from small daily habits, like leaving lights or chargers plugged in. I plan to start unplugging devices when not in use and switch to energy-efficient bulbs to lower my energy footprint.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
What is one thing you can do to help your community become more sustainable?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/03/2025 8:32 AM
One thing I can do is volunteer at a local community garden to help grow fresh food and promote sustainable living.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
What did you learn from trying to improve recycling in your space? What changes or support would make it easier to succeed?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/03/2025 8:31 AM
I learned that recycling works best when everyone knows what can be recycled and bins are easy to find. Clear labels and reminders would make it easier and help more people take part.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
Do people with economic privilege have a responsibility to consume and own less? How can the concept of “reduce” be presented to those who may be struggling to have enough food, clothes, shelter?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/01/2025 8:31 PM
Yes, people with privilege should consume less. For those struggling, “reduce” should mean providing support and access to essentials, not cutting back more.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
What would you like to invest more time in reflecting on?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/01/2025 8:30 PM
I’d like to invest more time reflecting on my goals and how my daily habits are helping me reach them.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/01/2025 8:30 PM
I will make sure I put things away as soon as I am done with them.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/01/2025 8:29 PM
I should stop making purchases on going out to get food.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
Consider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? A patio container? Hanging basket? Windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?

    Chloe Chevaux 901's avatar
    Chloe Chevaux 901 11/01/2025 8:26 PM
A windowsill garden would work best for me because it’s easy to maintain, fits small spaces, and lets me grow herbs or small plants indoors.
