    How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

    When you walk instead of driving, you get to see your city in a different light. Since you take more time to get to your destination, you get to take in the scenery around you more and you learn to appreciate the little things that make nature beautiful.

    How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

    One of the best ways to exercise is in a group of people you are friends with. I incorporate personal values like spending time with friends into this challenge by going to the gym with them whenever I work out.

    Before taking on this challenge, I used to sleep 5-6 hours a night and I consistently felt tired stressed. Since this challenge, I have been averaging 7-8 hours of sleep a night. This has improved not only my mood but also how I feel on a daily basis. To make this change, I stopped using my phone an hour before I wanted to sleep.

    How can practicing Loving-Kindness Meditation be helpful to the health of the environment?

    Practicing kindness and meditation could help the environment because it promotes compassion and it reduces stress and burnout. It is important to be compassionate because it promotes being more connected and empathetic with the people in the world around us. It is also important to avoid lots of stress and burnout considering we are nearing finals week and the end of the semester.
