Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Kelli Davis 3/06/2024 6:16 AMIt's the little things that keep me grounded, but I also have to cognizant of the larger things to be grateful for and not take for granted. Taking 30 minutes to write down and 3 things or taking the time to write a note to someone I appreciate, but may not have shared it with them feels good. It sets my day and keeps me aligned with goodness and kindnees. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Smart Seafood ChoicesMany states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?
Kelli Davis 3/06/2024 6:14 AMMaryland's advisory for eating fish. DO NOT EAT Shark, Swordfish, King Mackerel, or Tilefish because they contain high levels of mercury. Eat up to 12 ounces (2 average meals) a week of a variety of fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury.
I am choosing within the guidelines and I will begin asking for sustainable seafood when purchasing or eating at a restaurant.
