    I never really think about powering off my computer as I always just assume that when its "sleeping" its turned off. But its crazy how much this small thing can reduce my foot print.

    Today I was able to talk to my roommates and my other classmates about fair trade chocolate, coffee, etc. I was able to explain how important it is to buy things that have that fair trade sticker because of both the social and environmental positive effects that it results in.

    Yesterday I surfed during the sunset and it allowed me to disconnect from the fast paced lens’s of my life. I loved watching the water turn purple as the sun went down. It was pretty magical.

    This morning I had a yogurt and a bagel for breakfast which was my meatless meal. It was nice to know that I wasn’t contributing to a more meat centric diet even if it was one meal.
