I will turn off the lights and power down/unplug electronic devices when not in use. These sticker and light switch covers were driven by the winning student group from the Georgetown Energy Innovation Challenge (GEIC).

October 22nd, come to present an energy saving project as a group of students for a chance to implement on campus.

October 18th 4-6pm, come to the Hoya Harvest Garden (Regents, Hall, 4th floor Patio) for food, drinks, music, art and crafts.

Instead of just tossing out your trash, reduce the amount of waste sent to the landfill by composting. Hoya Hospitality composts back-of-house food waste in our kitchens. You can compost at Leo’s and Epicurean too. Epicurean and Leo’s has compost, trash, and recycling options for post-consumer food waste.

Use Georgetown's bike sharing program instead of driving or ubering.

Use public transportation, like a WMATA bus or GUTS bus, instead of driving or ubering.

Skip using plastic bottles and use a reusable bottle. You could win a Georgetown reusable Starbucks cup by participating in the Energy Instagram Trivia @sustainablegu or by being one of the top ten participants on EcoChallenge.
