    The impacts that humans have include increased sedimentation, runoff, increased temperatures. All of these impact stream/surface water health.

    Taking the time to walk after work allows me to close the stress cycle on what has happened to decrease the increase of stressors from one area of life to another (ex: work to home).

    Taking time to establish where I am, where do I need/want to go, and what actions do I need to take to get there is the focus. This allows me to act with intent.

    Personally, these are the three things that I have been working on for the past few years. It is more difficult than is should be sometimes trying to find a work/life balance.

    When you have a chance to slow down and see what's around you by walking versus driving you are able to catch the new plants in bloom, the new fence your neighbor installed, the new bird nest, etc...
