The main action I am focusing on is 5-minute showers. I have been doing this by setting a 5-minute timer when I shower. When I first did this, I thought it would be really difficult and that 5 minutes would fly by. I learned that this goal is not too hard to reach. The only time I had troubles was when I had to wash my hair, shave, and wash my body for one 5-minute shower. I think I ended up doing a 7-minute shower. However, I find this to still be a win because typically I would have been in the shower for 15-20 minutes. Setting the timer allows me to focus on how much time I am in the shower vs before I would put on a show or music and spend however long I felt like without thinking of the amount of water I was using. I also carpooled over the weekend with a few classmates and enjoyed the opportunity because it gave me the chance to learn more about my classmates, build friendships, and save the environment from extra emissions from my 3 other classmates.
