    Choosing two-sided printing can be an easy adjustment on your computer settings. How can you help others make this same switch? Can it be encouraged company wide?

    I could simply suggest this change when appropriate, I don’t have much more influence than that.

    I didn’t own a reusable mug, so that was the main obstacle. I recently bought one, so now I’m happy that I don’t have to worry about constantly using single use cups.

    The main water source in PA comes in the form of several river basins.

    Littering, Use of fossil fuels, overfishing, etc. We should be careful not to litter as trash typically finds its way into bodies of water

    What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you or aren't allowed to use the one you brought? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

    I would probably just carry stuff in my hands or find a basket/cart if possible

    Reducing your paper mail can reduce mental clutter as well as physical waste -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?

    Im happy that I have less trash to deal with. The next step I’ll take is probably stopping using plastic bottles.

    While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

    It’s a little bit of effort to remember to clean and refill your bottle, but doing anything for long enough will make it a habit. Generally, I’d just have to stay consistent

    I think that almost every food has an organic alternative, so you just have to be conscious about what you’re buying.
