REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureHow might spending more time outdoors enhance your brainpower?
Totton Heffelfinger 4/19/2025 6:24 PMI spent a few hours outside on a bike ride today. Not only was it a great time to get a little exercise, get away from my phone (other than when I took a photo toward the end), and engage with nature, but it was also a great way to enhance my brainpower. The experience was rejuvenating and educational — I learned a lot about the seal population in the area and the challenges that rising tides bring for low terrain bird populations in the area. -
Totton Heffelfinger 4/19/2025 6:11 PMA few days left — let's finish strong! -
Totton Heffelfinger 4/17/2025 10:46 AMWe're number five on the leaderboard! Let's get to 1. Go team! -
Totton Heffelfinger 4/17/2025 10:44 AMI just got home for break yesterday. Looking through the daily/one-time action options, it seems like they are far easier to complete when I'm at home. I wonder if that speaks to the sustainability of Georgetown's campus and a typical life at Goergetown. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityWhat did you learn about in the documentary you watched? How did it make you feel?
Totton Heffelfinger 4/12/2025 1:42 PMI watched a documentary "The Fight" with Aidan and Steven. We learned about ACLU lawyers, which is pertinent to our group presentation. It made me feel somewhat empowered; it's great to see people dedicating their skills and education to an important cause. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Totton Heffelfinger 4/12/2025 1:33 PMPracticing gratitude helps me stay grounded by reminding me of what’s already good and worth protecting. It shifts my focus from frustration to possibility, which keeps me from burning out. When I recognize the people and moments that bring meaning, it fuels my commitment to creating more of that in the world. -
Totton Heffelfinger 4/12/2025 1:28 PMJust had a great conversation about the Eco Challenge with two friends — Aidan and Steven. We're feeling pumped! Keep it up, team. -
Totton Heffelfinger 4/08/2025 6:37 PMI've had a little trouble with the food-related tasks, and I've found it challenging to work around Leos's options. That being said, we are doing very well — number 11 on the challenge's team leaderboard. Let's push for number 10! -
Totton Heffelfinger 4/03/2025 8:11 PMLet’s go, team! We’re off to a great start.
