REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityWhat was it like to actively listen to someone? How did both people and the conversations benefit from active listening?
Demitri Ilovski 104 10/24/2025 8:33 AMToday, I attended the business event held at York where I listened to many different speakers on how to get ahead for future jobs and networking. It was good to hear each person's input to the conversation, and it also helped me gain knowledge on topics I thought was unimportant. I think both people benefited from active listening because of the ideas being bounced back and forth to each other. One side or person might hear one thing and have a different opinion than the other, making the conversation build. -

Demitri Ilovski 104 10/21/2025 6:46 PMMy top five core values are hard-work, being truthful to myself and others, always try to be nice, be respectful, and always believe in myself. I narrowed it down to these five core values because of my own experience overtime. I know these values are key for me and practicing them every day is what makes me motivated to accomplish other things. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityFresh air and movement are good for our entire being and can help us think more clearly and creatively. How does taking a walk each day affect yourself and/or your work?
Demitri Ilovski 104 10/21/2025 6:36 PMI usually get my 20 minutes of waling each day to and from soccer practice. Taking a walk helps me clear my head and, most of the time, get away from schoolwork and other worries. It also helps me digest my food if I just ate and helps me feel more active. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet? What fruits or vegetables did you try this week, and which was your favorite?
Demitri Ilovski 104 10/21/2025 6:34 PMEating more fruits and vegetables has a positive effect on me and my body by getting me good nutrients and vitamins. Eating fruits and vegetables also lowers greenhouse gas emissions. This week I had watermelon, pineapple, broccoli, and carrots. The fruit I enjoyed most was pineapple and the vegetable I enjoyed the most was a carrot. -

Demitri Ilovski 104 10/21/2025 5:39 PMExercising today had a positive effect on both my physical and mental well-being. Breaking a sweat and pushing myself to the limit helps my body feel better today and in the long run, while it also makes me feel good about myself knowing I exercised today. Today I had soccer practice for two hours, so I enjoyed most, if not all of it as I have been playing soccer my whole life. -
