  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

I agree I find her to be correct. I also think we should spend more time outside.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also create echo chambers and take more time than we realize or intend to give. After completing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

I feel as if I don't need to look at my phone when it buzzes. I think putting your phone on silent will benefit you as much as it did to me
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

I think going to bed earlier has been helping me with my study. I find myself to be more involved in class and not as tired throughout the day.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Get Involved in the Water Justice Movement
Who is affected by polluted water or a lack of access to water in your region? How are they affected?

There are many homeless people where I come from and they are affected by the water pollution because they are using public water.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Practicing gratitude keeps you centered and motivated because it shows you everything you have that other people don't. When you look at all the possessions and memoirs you have compared to others I'd bet you'd take your things right back.
