  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health
What are some ways you care for your physical and emotional well-being as a student? How can you support others in doing the same?

    Keira Jordan 104's avatar
    Keira Jordan 104 11/05/2025 7:44 PM
I care about my well being by taking self care day to treat myself with hair, nails, and work out. I can support others to do the same by encouraging them to do the same.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation
Take a moment to think of places you frequent often (work, grocery store, school, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

    Keira Jordan 104's avatar
    Keira Jordan 104 11/04/2025 12:48 PM
Yes, I can schedule one or two days a week to car pool.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature
How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place -- your deep knowledge of and appreciation for your surroundings?

    Keira Jordan 104 11/04/2025 6:42 AM
Walking outside can help enhance your sense of space by walking through clean air, and grounding yourself. Appreciating the values the earth gives us is very important.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
What surprised you most about your water footprint, and how did it influence your perspective on water use? What changes can you make to reduce your water consumption, and how will these impact your daily routine?

    Keira Jordan 104's avatar
    Keira Jordan 104 11/04/2025 6:39 AM
It had shown me how much water is used in a day to day life, and made me wonder how much water others use as well. I will make changes throughout my day to save water by not letting the water run in the shower.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Keira Jordan 104's avatar
    Keira Jordan 104 11/02/2025 4:21 PM
It made me feel unwell knowing the amount of micro-plastics in my home.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community
Indigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?

    Keira Jordan 104's avatar
    Keira Jordan 104 11/02/2025 4:18 PM
It is important to sustain this balance because sometimes you need to ground yourself in the environment you live in.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Keira Jordan 104 11/02/2025 4:15 PM
It was pretty easy for me, but it also made me feel connected with the person I was talking to. We both were able to feel welcome and our conversation feel strong.

Just the feeling of knowing that I am healthy and doing good is really important due to being in college.

    Keira Jordan 104 10/26/2025 3:45 PM
excreting for me really feels like a clear mind, and helps exert stress and anger. I worked out in the gym then took some time in the sauna.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity
What did you notice in implementing this challenge? Was it hard to choose other activities over screen time? How did you decide to spend your time?

    Keira Jordan 104's avatar
    Keira Jordan 104 10/22/2025 8:39 AM
It was hard at first to complete this challenge due to the frequency I would be used to on my phone, but now taking the time to do something else feels clear. I spent my time taking a walk outside and enjoying the fall air.
