REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Avery Keiner 901 11/06/2025 5:16 AMIt is mainly produced through natural gas and nuclear methods. Both of these heavily impact the environment, animals, and humans by producing natural gases, nuclear waste, wasting water, and taking up a considerable amount of land. All of these factors either take away from animals and humans or contribute to destroying the environment. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergyYour utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your ZIP code, region, and/or state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage? If you live on campus or in shared housing, you may not receive a utility bill—so what are some other ways you can reduce energy use in your living space?
Avery Keiner 901 11/02/2025 8:23 PMOur bill is rather high due to having an electric water heater. I have cut down my shower times in order to reduce this waste of energy. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealthHow did exercising each day impact your physical or mental well-being? What activity did you enjoy most, and why?
Avery Keiner 901 11/02/2025 8:22 PMExercising gives me a time during my day to escape from all my worries and just focus on one thing. It is a much needed activity to lower stress along with other things. I enjoy lifting weights because it is fun to try your hardest to achieve a goal. -
