    Ecochallenge is going pretty well. I sonsistantly take the bus and use my reusable waterbottle.

    Food Weekly Meal Planning
    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

    I am very surprised by how much people are actually throwing out insane amounts of food. Especially due to the declining worth of the salary americans get and the fact that a lot of people are comlaining about having a very tight budget it surprises me that so much food/money gets thrown away

    I decided to buy fresher food (vegetables and fruit) and decrease the amount of meat I consume. It made my meals much tastier and because of the higher consumpotion of vegetables and fruit I feel more energetic overall now

    Taking the bus is very easy due to the bus ticket we got from our university, but the busses never being on time is very annoying. That makes it very hard to be on time myself and if I don´t want to take the bus that departes 15 minutes earlier I often am very close to being late

    I always knew that america invested way too much into their military but especially the comparism between military and education and infrastructure is very hilarious, because there could be done so much more for the american citizens

    I start to spend less money on unhealthy and unorganic food, I started to buy more fresh food and it greatly improved the taste of my meals as well as the feeling and energy I get out of those

    I would say that nowadays we are all addicted to sugar because it is in everything, but I definetly reduced my consumption of ice cream and cookies and I feel generally more energetic

    Just going to the gym is so much fun. Other activities that I rellys enjoy are hiking and surfing.

    A regular sleep time makes it much easier to get a proper amount of sleep. Regularly having 8 hours of sleep boosts my energy significantly
