Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I feel like the challenge is going well. I've had no problems with any of the actions so far.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Choose Organic Ingredients
Many people say that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” How would you respond to that statement?

    Lucas Knopsnyder 10/12/2023 7:15 PM
I would agree it is a better option for everyone and its way healthier the problem is it is too expensive for to many people and needs to decrease in price to be used everywhere.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Practice Gratitude for Earth
Kathleen Dean Moore says that a sense of gratitude leads to a sense of moral obligation. Do you agree? How can we cultivate a sense of gratitude as individuals, and as a society?

Yes, I do agree with what Kathleen Dean Moore says about gratitude. We can use gratitude as individuals by helping each other or ourselves, which can lead to a better society.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Lucas Knopsnyder 10/04/2023 7:46 AM
I experienced the beauties of the world. I enjoyed walking before I even did this experience.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

In what ways can you create more real and meaningful interactions with friends — or strangers — each week?

    Lucas Knopsnyder's avatar
    Lucas Knopsnyder 10/04/2023 7:36 AM
I can introduce myself to people and be respectful and responsible.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Adjust the Thermostat
Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your ZIP code, region, and/or state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?

You could turn off electric items that you are not using at the time. You could also go outside and just go for a walk and not be around electricity. You could use solar power as well. Unlike others, I don't use that much electricity in my zip code.
