    by keeping nearby water bodies/sources as clean as possible for example doing a trash pickup day at a nearby creek or river

    This statistic does not really apply to me because I commute almost 10 miles however I don't mind walking, a lot of times I will choose to take my dog with me and walk places if its short distance within the 3 mile range.
