-Most of the conversations that I have had about it have been negative. I often get asked why I chose to do it, so I just responded that I am doing it for a class. It's also a good opportunity to bring up the different environmental factors that the meat industry brings. For example, the different runoff from cow farms that go into the drinking water/rivers. Other conversations are just talking about what I eat -
kylee Landvatter 11/14/2024 6:17 AMI decided that I wanted to attempt to go vegan for at least 2 meals per day. It's definitely been very challenging because I eat animal products all of the time. Something I have had to do is change my milk in my coffee to almond or oat milk and check the ingredients of things more often. My favorite meal that I have made is a spinach tofu salad with cranberry sauce. I've been able to not only challenge myself in what I eat, but also my ability to cook. I wouldn't say I feel any different, but I have noticed that I eat more vegetables and fruits since taking up this challenge. Something that helps a lot is meal prepping everything I am going to eat for the day, including snacks. It prevents me from making some random thing that does contain animal product
