  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
In what neighborhoods or areas of your region are landfills or other waste sites located? Which communities are most affected by these locations?

A landfill in my community is right near where I live. This impacts the air quality, and living conditions of animals and people.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature
How do pollinators impact your daily life, and what changes can you make to ensure they continue to thrive?

Pollinators impact my daily life through the food I eat such as, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and spices. They also support the environment by improving air, water quality and soil health.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy
How is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?

Electricity is generated through natural gas where I live. This causes greenhouse gasses to be released into the environment causing harm to the ozone layer which is used to protect us from the sun.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health
How did exercising each day impact your physical or mental well-being? What activity did you enjoy most, and why?

When exercising each day it makes me feel less tired and motivates me to get things done that I might not do regularly.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four in the US spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where else would you rather invest this money instead of wasting food?

This doesn't surprise me as much because on social media, people's whole platform consists of food waste. Instead of wasting food, I think people should invest their money in food plans so they won't have so much waste.
