    Roland Marrach 2/28/2026 6:21 PM
I produce the most carbon from my diet, which is high in meat, including beef. I am willing to eat less meat, and especially less beef, to reduce this output

    Roland Marrach 2/28/2026 6:15 PM
The fact that energy is so important to our modern lives means that there is a lot of work to be done to make it sustainable while keeping a similar quality of life.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

    Roland Marrach's avatar

My online footprint is 135 kg, and I could power the Eiffel tower for 2 days with the energy I use on the internet.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
What surprised you most about your water footprint, and how did it influence your perspective on water use? What changes can you make to reduce your water consumption, and how will these impact your daily routine?

    Roland Marrach's avatar
    Roland Marrach 2/17/2026 11:36 AM
I was surprised at how much higher my virtual water use was than my direct water use. My biggest water footprints were diet, electricity, and shopping habits, so I will try to reduce those as much as possible. My biggest direct water footprints were showers, sinks, and toilets, so I will try to use those less as well.
