Micah McKenzie 4/27/2025 12:24 PMToday I visited my home for my dad's birthday. I noticed how much mail has been piling up since I've been at school (most of which I know my parents definitely won't get to reading). So after I went over it with my dad, we went into some of his accounts and opted into paperless contact. Saving paper and purging the future mountain of mail on my family's counter. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Does this statistic describe your own transportation habits? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Micah McKenzie 4/10/2025 6:31 PMThis doesn't describe my transportation habits because, as a college student on a campus in a city, walking is preferred by me. If not, ride-share through Uber with friends is what I do for longer trips -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWasteMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Micah McKenzie 4/10/2025 6:25 PMPortability and ease of use. I feel like knowing the difference I am making it is worth the extra effort
