REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Car ShareTake a moment to think of places you frequent often (school, work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Kyra McWilliams 10/02/2024 11:29 AMThe only places I drive to in Vermillion are grocery stores/food places. Instead of going to these places alone separately, I could coordinate with friends to go together and save gas and carbon emissions. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Kyra McWilliams 10/02/2024 11:13 AMYes, this does ring true. Being outside almost always boosts my mood and provides a good place for meditation and reflection. Spending more time indoors disconnects you from nature/the outside world.
