    An aging home definitely requires more help! We replaced windows this year, and redid the weather stripping around the doors. We put LARGE door seals on our overhead garage doors last year which was a big difference, and the year before added 6” of insulation in our attic. It all helps, But the WINDOWS were where we saw the largest heat/cold improvement.

    After reading the information on Seafood Watch perhaps the reason I don't find Pacific salmon sold in stores is due to the fact that they limit the purchase of bc salmon due to the fishing practices - which is great! Also selecting where I buy my fish from, such as a farm store and/or private owned business as opposed to a chain. I also did not realize the drift gillnets were used to catch salmon in BC. 😔
