The impacts it can have are a person are serious health concerns, like malnutrition and heart disease. In a community, the effects are lower life expectancies and continuation of poverty. It makes the community physically healthier which increases brain function and decreases exhaustion, and it also eliminates the feeling of being lesser or unworthy.
