For my ecochallenge I decided to pick four different actions that are small changes in my routine but would still challenge me enough throughout the day. I choose the actions: turning off lights/ electronics when not in use; walking three miles every day instead of driving; using a reusable water bottle; and turning off the water while brushing my teeth. Something I am learning is how much time I have to add to my schedule when walking to work to decrease driving. I have also caught myself leaving the water running while brushing my teeth at the beginning of the challenge, however, I have improved since then. Using a reusable water bottle reduces my use of plastic and the cost of my groceries every week.
