I helped one of my neighbors move all of her plants out of her green house last week. Then yesterday I helped my other neighbors trim on of their cherry tress.

I've been planting native species in the garden and around the yard for years now. I noticed yesterday that one of the grasses I planted years ago was blooming for the first time since I transplanted it. It took a long time to get to this point, but after planting it required no maintenance, I don't even water them. I also have a native vine maple that has done very well, and looks really good in the fall. Not needing to water plants in your yard or garden is a really good way to cut back on water use.

I haven't planted any in a while, maybe I will this year. I'd like to replace the invasive blackberries with snowberry.

yes they save water and need less maintenance. I like vine maples! are you planting any more natives this season?

I made a meal plan for the week today. I always go though the fridge and pantry first to see what food I already have and base some meals off of that. This helps with food waste, by using up food I already have. It also helps me not over buy, which saves money too.

I made a meal plan for the week today. I always start by going through the fridge and seeing what food didn't get used from the week before and I make meals based on that.

I already spend a lot of time outside, but this week I made sure to go for an extra walk.
